Our Management Team
AJ Leveille – Partner, President
Like many other successful entrepreneurs, AJ Leveille looks at obstacles and sees opportunities. He owns and operates several successful businesses, including Atlas Bobcat, where one of his main services is to help customers remove physical obstacles from their landscapes. With a passion for travel, he’s overcome cultural challenges in such diverse destinations as Japan, South Africa, Lesotho, Dubai, Russia and Guatemala. And as an avid mountain climber, he’s reached many summits over the years, including Washington’s Mt Baker, and Kala Patthar in the Nepalese Himalayas.
AJ also knows what it’s like to face life’s unexpected obstacles. At the age of 30, he developed a severe case of ulcerative colitis and was hospitalized. Over the next two years, he was subject to multiple treatments, lost nearly one-third of his 150-lb body weight, and had surgery to remove his colon. After choosing to have further surgery to keep his ostomy, he wanted nothing more than to return to life as he had known it.
Almost a decade later, AJ has discovered that living life to the fullest with an ostomy, while not always straightforward, is certainly possible. With the steady support of his wife, and the future of his two young sons in mind, he’s faced this new challenge head on and has figured out ways to return to his active, adventurous lifestyle. Thanks to various techniques and products, he has resumed his outdoor pursuits, travelled to various international destinations, and has a growing passion for 4×4 backcountry exploration. AJ’s ultimate purpose in forming Inner Good is to help others with their ostomy-related struggles so that they can enjoy their lives to the fullest as well.
